One thing about Istanbul is the fact that it is getting to be increasingly difficult to spot puppies, since the municipality spays all dogs, male and female alike.

And as far as kittens go, fewer of them around as well; since neighborhoods too tend see to it that the 4 legged street population does not proliferate excessively and usually have their cats fixed.

So, these shots are a rare treat indeed! Especially the puppies...

Eminim siz de fark etmişsinizdir ki bugünlerde şehrimizde yavru köpek görmek artık pek kolay değil. Kedi yavrusu da az çok öyle. Belediyelerden tutun da çarşı pazar esnafına kadar hiç kimse sokaklarda sefil durumlara düşebilecek bir hayvan nüfusunun artışını istemiyor ve o zaman da tek çözüm kısırlaştırma. Bu ise tabii çaresiz olarak daha az yavru köpek (ve kedi) anlamına gelmekte.
